So I wrote up this post last night to put up today with some pictures of my beautiful nieces.
These pics were taken late last year but I haven’t had a chance to showcase them yet.
While I was getting them ready to give to mommy, I figured it would be the perfect time to post them in a throw back post.

I live vicariously through my sister-in-law, I may never have the chance to have a little girl of my own.
So, yes, I’m a bit of an obsessive auntie.

My very first niece, Miss Ariah Diane. She’s the joyful, crazy, little one who looks just like my big brother.

And this is my little noodle…she got that nickname during her newborn shoot.
This little baby doll is all princess and diva.
She arrived in our family at the perfect time, when we all needed a certain amount of joy and I am forever grateful for that.

(on a side note, I find it humorous that these photos were taken in late November or early December- and the girls were outdoors with rompers and no shoes. Yet if you check out my Facebook page, the pictures I took a few days ago on MAY 1st were in the snow!)

I met Miss Annabelle Lyric right before she turned a year and a half.
Her mom brought her to me, via word of mouth (thank you Terra!) for some updated pictures.

I remember at the time, joking with her mama how cute it would be to introduce our kids.
How it would be even more adorable to photograph them together…
(little did we know)

About a half a year later we would do just that.
Miss Annabelle at 2 years old.

Our first attempt at getting them to take any kind of a photo together.

The next time they hung out, it was like they were suddenly best friends.

And after that night, not much changed (Oct 2010)

To be fair, both kids are completely obsessed with the idea of marriage right now.
Although we joke, their relationship has progressed naturally and it’s beautiful.
Whether they grow up to date, be best friends or mortal enemies…their innocence and love is constantly refreshing.
